Simple checkout pricing

Test for free. Pay 0.7% per live payment.

Payclave has no monthly fee and no setup fee. In live mode, the customer pays the listed invoice amount and the merchant receives that amount minus Payclave's flat 0.7% fee. Network costs may still apply and are shown in checkout where applicable.

$0 test mode

Create test keys, checkout sessions, invoices, payment records, and webhook deliveries while building the integration.

0.7% live fee

A flat fee applies to each completed live payment instead of a monthly subscription or setup charge.

Direct settlement

The merchant receives settlement in its configured wallet without waiting for a later Payclave payout.

From order to payment record

A checkout flow with a verifiable outcome.

  1. 1

    Build in test mode

Complete merchant setup, generate test keys, create sessions, and validate signed webhook handling without a Payclave platform fee.

  2. 2

    Prepare the live integration

Configure the receiving wallet, production endpoint, secure secret storage, and idempotent fulfillment flow.

  3. 3

    Activate live payments

After live access is approved, use live credentials and keep live payment records separate from test data.

  4. 4

    Reconcile fee and settlement

Payment records show the platform fee and net merchant settlement alongside the invoice and transaction evidence.

What the 0.7% fee covers

The Payclave fee covers the hosted checkout surface, checkout sessions, invoices, independent payment verification, dashboard records, webhook delivery and retries, API keys, and developer SDK access used for the payment flow.

It is charged per completed live payment. There is no separate monthly platform subscription or implementation setup fee for the standard checkout offering.

What is separate from Payclave pricing

Blockchain network costs can vary by the customer payment route and are not the Payclave platform fee. Where applicable, those costs are presented in checkout before the customer confirms the transaction.

Payclave does not include fiat conversion, bank settlement, automated refunds, or custodial wallet services. Merchants receive the configured stablecoin settlement and manage their own wallet.

Start with an end-to-end test

A useful test should cover more than opening the checkout page. Create a session with the real order reference pattern, complete the simulated payment path, verify the webhook signature, deduplicate the event, and confirm the fulfillment state changes only once.

The API playground and test keys support that workflow before the merchant switches to live credentials and real settlement.
